Due to heavy rains brought about by low pressure area (LPA), several areas were declared no classes today, August 10, 2016. Local government and school officials were forced to suspend classes in Metro Manila and nearby provinces as PAGASA warned of continuous downpour in Luzon and Western Visayas due to the LPA. PAGASA also announced that another LPA is expected over the weekend in the area of Northern Luzon.
