A south-bound ALPS bus was burned at the South Luzon Expressway on Tuesday morning, February 4, 2014.

The tire of the ALPS bus, with plate number DXB 157, caught fire while cruising along the SLEX road.

ALPS bus is reportedly on its way to Batangas City.

According to the bus driver, Randy Allenegue, he saw the rear right tire on fire and immediately pour water on it. However, the tire exploded that injured Allenegue and burned the bus.

Allenegue was rushed to Ospital ng Muntinlupa in Alabang due to injuries he sustained.

There were no reported injuries on among the bus passengers.
