Due to heavy rains brought about by low pressure area (LPA), several areas were declared no classes today, August 10, 2016. Local government and school officials were forced to suspend classes in Metro Manila and nearby provinces as PAGASA warned of continuous downpour in Luzon and Western Visayas due to the LPA. Typhoon Glenda is reportedly heading into the Bicol region and western part of Luzon at 28 kph.
