Election 2016: Can US Presidential Supporters Vote via Text or Tweet?

Election 2016The 2016 United States Presidential Elections has started today, November 8, 2016. Fate of Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in the hands of the electorate now.

Early on Election Day, there has been posts on social media that encourage Hillary Clinton supporters to cast their votes by just texting or through tweet to save time. The rumors being spread reportedly is targeting minorities.

However, a report by ABC News clarified that voting through text and tweet is not acceptable. Authorities are also warning voters that ballot selfies are considered illegal.

Some good news on election day include a $20 off from Uber to first time riders by using the code VOTETODAY. Lyft is also giving away 40% to passengers going to their polling place.
