The latest Google mobile operating system, Android 4.4 named KitKat, is expected to be launched on October 28, 2013.
Android KitKat will be the sweetest operating system from Google. Previous versions were named after dessert products like Cupcake (1.5), Donut (1.6), Eclair (2.0), Froyo (2.2), Gingerbread (2.3), Honeycomb (3.0), Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0), and Jelly Bean (4.1).
According to Google, the companies goal of releasing Android 4.4, KitKat is “to make an amazing Android experience available for everybody. KitKat is a favorite chocolate brand worldwide and Google is counting on its name recall to raise the popularity of Android.”
Google is making the Android KitKat release more exciting by offering to give away a Nexus 7 or Google Play credit.
KitKat lovers only need to buy KitKat candy bars featuring a specially designed Android robot.
