Typhoon Glenda is expected to hit Metro Manila, according to the latest weather forecast issued by PAGASA. In anticipation of the storm landfall, authorities declared suspension of classes for Tuesday, July 15, 2014. PAGASA raised storm signals in several areas due to Tropical Storm Glenda (international name: Rammasun). Typhoon Glenda is reportedly heading into the Bicol region and western part of Luzon at 28 kph. Due to Typhoon Glenda, PAGASA raised storm signal no. 2 in the areas of Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, and Sorsogon. Reports say that Malang is a Crocodylus mindorensis (Philippine freshwater crocodile), measuring about one third the size of the more popular saltwater crocodile named Lolong. Malang reportedly measures about 2.18 meters long.
