LeBron James hit a tough three-point shot with 0.2 second left in the game to lead the Miami Heat victory against the Golden State Warriors, 111-110. James‘ three-pointer silenced the sellout crowd of 19,596 inside the ORACLE Arena, Oakland on Wednesday night, February 12, 2014.
James led the Heat with 36 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. He hit 14 of 26 field goals with 4 of his shots from the three-point area.
The top 2014 All Star explained that he “was going for the win the whole time.” James, who hit a 27-footer over Andre Iguodala, added that “better offense beats better defense every time.”
Miami again played without the services of All-Star Dwyane Wade due to a nerve irritation in his left foot.
The Heat (37-14) led by as much as 21 points before holding off a fierce rally by the Warriors, who took an 87-84 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Chris Bosh provided support for James with 19 points and five rebounds. Michael Beasley added 16 points.
Stephen Curry top scored for Golden State with 29 points and seven assists. David Lee had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors.
