LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals 2015.

Cleveland Cavaliers took the first slot of the 2015 NBA Finals after sweeping the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Finals best-of-seven series. The Cavaliers beat the Hawks, 118-88, on Tuesday, May 26 at the Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, OH to get their four straight win in the East Finals series.

LeBron James led the Cleveland with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Kyrie Irving returned to the Cavaliers lineup and added 16 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. The Cavs team offense was in full display with six players scoring in double-digits.

Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap carried the offense for Atlanta as they scored 17 and 16 points respectively. Al Horford, who was spared suspension by league officials, only scored 2 points.

James became the first player to make five straight NBA Finals appearance since the ’60s Celtics. Previous NBA stars to make the feat includes Bill Russell, Satch Sanders, KC Jones, Sam Jones.

The Cavaliers will face either the Golden State Warriors or Houston Rockets for the 2015 NBA Finals championship. The Warriors currently leads the series against the Rockets, 3-1.
