The Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Atlanta Hawks for the best-of-seven 2015 NBA Eastern Conference Finals starting on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.
Cleveland earned the first East Finals berth after beating the Chicago Bulls in the semifinals, 4-2. Atlanta escaped the Washington Wizards last second attempt to get their first ever East Finals appearance after 15 tries.
LeBron James is expected to lead the Kevin Love-less Cavaliers. Several days rest is expected to rejuvenate Cleveland’s injured star point guard, Kyrie Irving.
Meanwhile, Al Horford, DeMarre Carroll, Paul Millsap and Kyle Korver will surely provide the lift for the Hawks. Atlanta owns the regular season series with the Cavs, 3-1.
