A wire fox terrier, named Afterall Painting The Sky or simply Sky, is declared Best in Show during the 2014 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at the Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday night, February 11, 2014.
Sky became the 14th wire fox terrier to get the top dog award in America. She won over a standard poodle, a Portuguese water dog, bloodhound, an Irish water Spaniel, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and a miniature Pinscher.
The handler of the 5-year-old Sky is Gabriel Rangel who lives in Rialto, California.
Sky became a Triple Crown winner as she previously won the National Dog Show and American Kennel Club event.
Ally, a standard poodle, took home the runner-up award.
There were 2,845 dogs from 190 eligible breeds and varieties who competed in the 138th WKC Dog Show.
The crowd favorite during the final judging was a bloodhound named Nathan.
A total of 46 out of 105 Best in Show recognition now belongs to Terriers.
