Office Depot Closing 150 Stores in 2014

Office Depot Inc will be closing about 400 US stores in a span of two years, according to a recent disclosure by the office supply retailer. The Office Depot closings will start with the shutdown of 150 stores this year. As of March 29, 2014, Office Depot reportedly have 1,900 stores across the US. The store closings of Office Depot is aimed at consolidating its operations with OfficeMax. Shares of Office Depot increased by 10 percent following the store closings announcement. Flights Delayed in Los Angeles Airport Today, April 30

Computers were being blamed for the delay of several flights in the Los Angeles area on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The computer problem affected several airports that include the Los Angeles International, third busiest airport in the US. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) explained that there was a failure in their air traffic computer system called, En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) system. Some flights were diverted to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City while others were grounded. Reports say that Malang is a Crocodylus mindorensis (Philippine freshwater crocodile), measuring about one third the size of the more popular saltwater crocodile named Lolong. Malang reportedly measures about 2.18 meters long.
