Typhoon Melor 2015: #NonaPH Suspension of Classes, Cancellation of Flights

Typhoon Melor 2015Typhoon Melor or Bagyong Nona has made landfall in Batag Island, Northern Samar at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015. PAGASA issued the latest bulletin on Typhoon Nona during a press conference earlier.

Due to Typhoon Nona, several local government units and schools have declared suspension of work and classes. Other schools already announced no classes for tomorrow, December 15.

Cebu Pacific and Air Asia meanwhile cancelled flights because of Typhoon Nona. The typhoon reportedly carry a maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour with gustiness of up to 185 kph as it moves west at 17 kph.
