PAGASA Weather Forecast: Bagyong Paeng Enters PAR, November 1 2014

The latest Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) public weather forecast indicate that Bagyong Paeng (International codename: NURI) may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by November 1, 2014. According to PAGASA, Tropical Storm Paeng was spotted at 1,255 km East of Visayas. It was moving West Northwest at 15 kph with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. Typhoon Glenda Triggers Suspension of Classes

Typhoon Glenda Photo Credit: ANC The latest PAGASA weather update indicated that Typhoon Glenda (international codename: Rammasun) was spotted at 620 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes on Monday, July 14, 2014. Typhoon Glenda is reportedly heading into the Bicol region and western part of Luzon at 28 kph. Due to Typhoon Glenda, PAGASA raised storm signal no. 2 in the areas of Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, and Sorsogon.
