Paul George suffered a broken right leg injury during Team USA’s exhibition game at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Friday, August 1, 2014.

In a statement on Saturday morning, the NBA said that the Pacers All-Star had a successful surgery to repair his open tibia-fibula fracture.

Reports say that George will remain in the hospital for at least three days.

George sustained the injury during a block attempt on the shot by Rockets guard James Harden. He landed on the corner of the goal support and buckled his leg.
