A stabbing incident at Macy’s shopping Mall in Massachusetts left at least four people critically injured on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

The lone assailant was shot by an off-duty security officer according to the Massachusetts State Police and Taunton Police.

Reports say that the suspect earlier stabbed two people at a local home. Then at 7:00 pm (2300 GMT), the suspect crashed his car into the glass entrance of Macy’s department store, at the Silver City Galleria, then stabbed two more at a mall restaurant.

As of posting, the police has not establish any motive for the attack.
