Gabriela Isler of Venezuela won the 2013 Miss Universe title on Saturday, November 9, 2013. The Philippines‘ candidate Ariella Arida took home the 3rd runner-up which she dedicated to her fellow Filipinos greatly affected by Typhoon Yolanda (International codename: Typhoon Haiyan).

The 62nd Miss Universe coronation night was held at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.

Organizers announced that the event was dedicated to the Philippines and Vietnam, two countries devastated by the super typhoon considered as the 12th strongest typhoon in world history.

• First Runner-Up: Patricia Rodríguez of Spain,
• Second Runner-Up: Constanza Báez of Ecuador,
• Third Runner-Up: Arida,
• Fourth Runner-Up: Jakelyne Oliveira of Brazil.

Arida was the only Asian candidate who made it into the Miss Universe 2013 Top 5.
