A Mercedes-Benz recall has been initiated by the German car manufacturer on vehicles sold in the United States and Canada.

Owners of about 284,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles are at risk due to the car’s ‘weak electrical connection.’ The faulty connection may result into failed and dimmed tail lights.

The unit of Daimler AG is facing its largest car recall in years.

Mercedes-Benz recall involves C300, C300 4Matic, C350, and C63 AMG vehicles with model years between 2008 and 2011. These cars were reportedly manufactured from January 26, 2007 to July 13, 2011.

According to the German car manufacturer, there is no reported accidents or injuries related to the latest Mercedes-Benz recall.
